LINTON — Marcella "Sally" Ibach, 79, Linton, died Feb. 26, 2010, in the Linton Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 1, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Linton, with the Rev. Gary Benz officiating. Burial will be held in the spring in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, where there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour before services at the church on Monday.

Marcella "Sally" Ibach was born April 25, 1930, on a farm near Hague, the daughter of John and Barbara (Welder) Welk. She attended country school. Sally married Alouis Ibach on June 26, 1950, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Hague. They made their home on a farm northeast of Linton until 1978 when they moved into Linton. Sally worked at Sister's Restaurant for a short period of time. She enjoyed embroidery, visiting with family and friends and playing cards. Sally will always be remembered as a fine hostess.

She was a member of Christian Mothers, Red Hat Society, Linton Senior Citizens and Country Crossroads Homemaker's Club.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Monica Ibach, Santa Clara, Calif., Joe and Kathy Ibach, Bismarck, Terry and Deb Ibach, Linton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy Ibach and Jeff Olson and Cheryl and Kevin Shepherd, all of Bismarck; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Aloys and Monica Welk, Sioux Falls, S.D., Herman and Lorraine Welk, Morgan Hill, Calif., Donnie and Toni Welk, Cudahy, Wis., Francis and Ellen Welk, Oak Creek, Wis., and Leo and Kay Welk, Fargo; one sister, Ann Fitzsimmons, Tampa Bay, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alouis in 1995; and five brothers, John, Joe, Alfred, Clarence and Eugene.
