Eldora Bertha Morlock, 75, Beulah, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, at Sakakawea Medical Center, Hazen.

Private services and burial were held.

Eldora was born Oct. 2, 1930, to Friedrich (Fred) and Rose (Flemmer) Welk at Zap. Her family moved to Beulah and she graduated from Beulah High School in 1948. On Jan. 12, 1951, she married Gus Morlock at the Zion Lutheran Church in Beulah. Over the years the family lived in almost all of the towns in Mercer County, including Hazen, Zap, Stanton and then finally settling in Beulah. She worked for the Farmers Home Administration from 1948 to 1951. Eldora loved fishing and was constantly going after the big one. Later in life, her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She is survived by husband, Gus; her children, Bryan (Karen), Fergus Falls, Minn., Lynn, White-fish, Mont., Bruce (Jackyn), Grand Forks and Kathy (Terry) Thiel, Mi-not; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Cory, and Jennifer Morlock, Christie (Ben) Keele and Patrick, Ryan and Kelly Thiel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eldora was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, David, Rueben, and Ervin Welk. Arrangements by Seibel Funeral Homes, Beulah and Hazen.
