Estelle Wessells Bloxom, 87, wife of the late Charlie T. Bloxom and a former lifetime resident of Hallwood, died peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005 at Hartley Hall Nursing Home in Pocomoke City, Md. A funeral service will be held today, Oct. 15, at 2 p.m. at the Hallwood Baptist Church, in Hallwood, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Danny Shrieves will officiate. Interment will follow in the Parksley Cemetery in Parksley. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the Hallwood Baptist Church, c/o Mr. Maxwell Marshall, P.O. Box 43, Hallwood, VA 23359. Arrangements are being handled by the Holloway Melson Funeral Home, Pocomoke City.
