Mrs. Huldah Herring, who lived with her daughter, Mrs. W.T. Hendrson at 1630 Sea Isle, died at 4:15 p.m. yesterday at Methodist Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Herring, who was 83, was the widow of James Barney Herring. She was a member of Park Avenue Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She also leaves two sons, Julius B. Herring of 961 Inman Road and Thomas Douglas Herring of Lexa, Ark.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. (Published in The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, TN, on March 13, 1971)
