Services for Mrs. Claudia Harrell Whitaker of 6217 Island 40 Road, widow of Memphis Fire Department Capt. William Ben Whitaker, will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Memphis Funeral Home on Union with burial in Memorial Park. Mrs. Whitaker, who was 80, died at 4:25 p.m. Friday after a long illness. She was a charter member of Frayser Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She leaves a daughter, Ilva "Sing" Taylor (Mrs. Daniel M. Taylor) of the Island 40 address; two sons, Joe Whitaker of 2750 Lakecrest and Ben Whitaker of 6223 Island 40 Road; two granddaughters and a great-grandson.
