Mrs. Mary Jane Fraleigh, 81, Harris road, Jeddo, resident of the Jeddo area 50 years, widow of William J. Fraleigh, died early today in Mt. Carmel Hospital, Detroit. She was born Feb. 8, 1872 in Wisbeach, Ont. She and Mr. Fraleigh were married Set. 18, 1900. Her husband died in January, 1946.

Mrs. Fraleigh was a member of Lakeport Methodist church.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Chester Gilbert, Mrs. Stanley Woods and Mrs. Dorothea Pulley, all of Detroit; two sons, Preslie and Shirley Fraleigh, both of Jeddo; a brother, Thomas Williams, Harbor Beach; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Ann Richards, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., five grand children and four great grandchildren.

The remains are in the Arthur Smith funeral home, where funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday by Rev. Clinton Ball, pastor of Lakeport Methodist church. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
