ROBBINS -- Eva Williams Brower, 85, died Saturday (12/14/13) at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro.

She was born Feb. 13, 1928, to Mattie and Russell Williams in Glendon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lonnie Lawson Brower; son, Kenneth; and three grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at New Zion AME Zion Church in Robbins with the Rev. Jerry Dowdy officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Yvonne Martin (Percy) of Goldston, Henry J. Brower (Beverly) of Biscoe, Lawson Brower, Walter Brower (Marie), and Shelia Murray (Everett), all of Robbins, Raymond Brower (Meshell) of Asheboro, Charles Brower (Benita) of Chesapeake, Va., and Avis Curtis (Avery) of Greensboro; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Elder Billy Williams (Viola) of Columbus, Ohio, Leonard Williams (Thelma), and Willie Williams (Laverne), of Robbins; sisters, Belle Person of Robbins, Betty Shamberger of Pinehurst, Bessie Taylor of Pittsburgh, Pa., Mattie Williams of Carthage and Jessie Mae Barrett (Robert) of Pinehurst; sister-in-law, Ruth Brower of Carthage; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are by Person Funeral Home in Robbins.
