A two-year-old child was accidentally run over by a truck driver by his father on the latter's farm near Hyattstown and fatally injured Thursday morning. The dead youth is CHARLES DOUGLAS WILLIAMS, JR., son of Charles D. and Mary Elizabeth Butt Williams. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Frederick City Hospital, to which he was rushed by his father after the accident.

After an investigation State Police said that the father and child had returned from a trip to a store when the accident occurred near their residence. The father had stopped to permit the child to alight before he began backing the machine into the yard. The little boy apparently tried to get back into the truck and without the knowledge of the father and apparently fell under a rear wheel, which passed over the child's body.

Besides his parents, the boy is survived by two sisters, Constance Louise and Linda Ray. The family is formerly from the Ijamsville section, it is understood.

Services were held at Harry E. Carty Co. funeral home; interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
