Mrs. Anne Laurie Brown Williams died Jan. 9, 2008 at Frederick Memorial Hospital with her beloved husband of 65 years at her side.

Born May 20, 1925 in Clearwater, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Cleo Brown. She attended Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, Ala., where she met her future husband, Marcus B. Williams. Anne was active in the Baptist Church all her life, and assisted her husband in his ministry of music in the Baptist churches. She was also a proud member of the Maryland Society of Accountants.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Janet W. Rollman and Jo Anne Kierzkowski; six grandchildren, Marc Rollman, Meredith Easterly, Jason Scaggs, Geromy Scaggs, Jevin Scaggs, and Matt Rollman; 25 great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Mary Virginia Vineyard.

Graveside services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14 at the Veterans garden of Honor II at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 U.S. Route 15 N. in Frederick. The Rev. Marc Rollman will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anne's name to the of Western Maryland, 108 Byte Dr., Frederick, MD 21702. Arrangements are by Resthaven Funeral Services, Skkot Cody P.A. in Frederick.
