Kimberly Ann Shelton, age 50, of Smiths Creek, formerly of Marine City, went home to be with the Lord April 17, 2013. She was born April 12, 1963 in St. Clair to Monna and the late R. Chace Williams.
Kim attended Grand Rapids Baptist College, graduating with an associates degree in accounting. On March 4, 1989 she married Dan Shelton.
Kim was the payroll coordinator at Port Huron Hospital. Kim was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church, East China Twp. She lovingly served in these various ministries within the church, mission activities, college age adults and was also a youth leader for many years. Kim shared her generous heart and love of her church family in many other church activities as well.
She is the loving wife of Dan Shelton, beloved mother of Kyle Shelton (fiancee Elyssa Summerville) and Cameron Shelton, cherished daughter of Monna Williams, dearest sister of Robert (Denise) Williams, Michelle (Robert) Martin and Kristi (Jeff) Homan. Also surviving are father in law and mother in law; Dr. Robert and Nancy Shelton and many nieces, nephews and in laws.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday April 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, East China Twp. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Sunday April 21st 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday 1:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to services.
