Deanna Williams Baker, 84, of Chester, Idaho died on Tuesday October 5th, 2021 at home with family in Rigby Idaho. Deanna was born on February 26, 1937 in Chester Idaho to Gomer Hughes and Dorothy Howard Williams.
She was a graduate of South Fremont High School in St Anthony Idaho in the class of 1955.
Deanna was sealed to Robert C. Baker in 1959 at the Los Angeles California LDS Temple. They settled in Merced, California where they raised their family of five sons and one daughter.
Deanna was a lifelong active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various capacities. After her husband, Robert, passed away in 2005, Deanna returned to live in Chester, Idaho where she served for many years in the Rexburg Idaho Temple. Her greatest joys in life were teaching her primary children and serving in the temple.
She is survived by her children: Dean (Annie) Baker of Southaven Mississippi, Steve Baker of Merced California, Gayla (Danny) Bennick of Rigby Idaho, Rick (Amelia) Baker of Bountiful, Utah, Bill (Shelby) Baker of Layton Utah, Andrew Baker of Provo Utah; and her siblings: Marva Bowman, Mildred Berkheimer, Mark Williams, and Gordon Williams.
Funeral services will be held at the Ashton LDS Stake Center on Tuesday October 13, 2021 at 11:00 am, 512 North 2nd Street. A viewing will begin at 10:00 am, followed by the interment at the Chester Cemetery.
