Ralph Wofford, 71, passed away on Tuesday August 3, 2010 at the Open Arms Hospice in Simpsonville.
Mr. Wofford was the husband of Marian Wofford of the home and was born in Murryville, GA. He was the son of the late Hoyt and Malldelle Gillard Wofford. Before retiring in 1995, he was a machinist with the James River Mill.
In Addition to his wife, Mr. Wofford is survived by 1 son: Jay Wofford and his wife Rebecca of Norris, SC; 2 daughters: Paula Ellison and her husband Keith of Easley, SC and Francis Jernigan of the Powdersville community in Easley,SC; 5 grandchildren: Toby Wofford, Melonie Sue and Marie Ellison, and Haleigh and Issac Jernigan; 3 brothers: Lewis Wofford and his wife Reba, Earle Wofford and his wife Debrah, and Alan Wofford and his wife Barbara all of Georgia.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday August 5, 2010 at Graceland Cemetery West at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Ronnie Williams presiding.
