Broadus William Wofford, 75, left this earth to walk with Jesus, Monday, March 12, 2007.

Born in Woodruff, he was a son of the late Toy Lathan Wofford and Laura Godfrey Wofford and stepmother, Martha Roberts Wofford.

Mr. Wofford served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth James Wofford, of the home; a daughter, Vicki Johnson and husband, Danny, of Piedmont; a son, Brad Wofford and wife, Susie, of Conway; a sister, Frances Weems (Charles) of Greenville; three brothers, Toy Wofford Jr. (Dee) of Idaho, Tommy Wofford (Gladys) of Fountain Inn, and Terry Wofford (Becky) of Piedmont; and four grandchildren, Evan and Adam Johnson, and Hope and Kelli Wofford.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.

Services will be Thursday at 4 p.m. at Washington Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Washington Avenue Baptist Church, c/o Mission Funds, 200 N. Washington Ave., Greenville, SC 29611.
