Leona Sarah Frances Edwards, 94, of Spartanburg passed away on August 21, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Wofford, Sr. and Dora Calvert Wofford and wife of the late Clyde A. Edwards. She was first married to the late Roy Whiteside.
She was retired from Landrum Mills and was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by a granddaughter Lori Hirsch; and three great grandchildren, Lauren Alexa Hirsch, Taylor Ann Hirsch and Ryan Dean Whiteside. She was predeceased by a son, Roy Dean Whiteside and a grandson, Jeffrey Dean Whiteside.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00pm Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Chuck Mullinax. Burial will be in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
