Daughter of Roger and Dorcas Burnham Wolcott
Rhoda married Charles Burbridge on July 7th, 1812, based on the book Early Families of Hartford.

They had 3 known children:

Maria L (probably Louisa but possibly Livingston) Abt 1812-3 Oct 1827
Mary Cornelia 25 April 1816-4 Oct 1903 (married William Clark Tillotson and removed to Jefferson County, Kansas in 1854 according to her headstone)
William H (probably Henry) born 1818 married Caroline M and removed to Illinois

Based on the headstone, Rhoda died 8 days after Maria. Thanks to Jessica of OldPaperVault on eBay, we have other information that contradicts the stone. Thomas Huntington Jr wrote his son Erastus, in the Navy at the time, to advise him of Maria's death. In his letter dated September 16, 1827, he advised Erastus that Maria died September 11th and her funeral was the 13th. There's a reference to Rhoda's death dated Nov 12, 1827 in Connecticut Marriages and Deaths 1792-1837 on American Ancestors.org but it could be when an article was written.

The Charles Hale Collection does not show Rhoda in this cemetery but the date of death reflected for Charles is actually hers and his date of death is August 7, 1831 per his military records. I'm guessing that something was transcribed incorrectly in the Charles Hale Collection and their information was somehow combined. A FAG Contributor looked for his stone in April 2013 and could not find it so this may be impossible to sort out unless there are other burial records to be found.

William appears in the 1850 Census in Windsor CT with wife Caroline and daughters Laura 5 and Maria 2 and they all show as born in CT. He appears again in 1870 in Quincy, Adams, IL with wife Caroline, daughters Maria 22 Julia 16 and Charles 11. It shows Caroline as being born in Canada, Maria in Massachusetts and Julia and Charles in Illinois. He is there still in 1880 and 1900 censuses with differing information as to place of birth of him and his parents.

Several Ancestry trees indicate that Rhoda and Charles were married in 1815. Rhoda's lineage can be found in this book:

Wolcott genealogy : the family of Henry Wolcott, one of the first settlers of Windsor, Connecticut.

She and her marriage to Charles are mentioned on page 103.
