ADALINE WOLCOTT APPLEBEE
Mrs. Adaline Wolcott Applebee was born in
Shelby, Oleans county, N. Y., in the year 1838
and died on March 10, 1914, at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Levi Harris, in Atlas, Genesee
county having reached the age of nearly 77
years. She was married to Hiram Applebee in
1854 and settled in Davison, In 1882 they
moved on the farm four miles west of Mayville.
Mr. Applebee was an invalid for twenty years
and died in 1893. To this union were born nine
children, six, four daughters and two sons surviving her. She was a kind,
loving 'mother' who spared no
pajns to make home pleasant.
Besides tho children she leaves
many near relatives, neighbors
aud friends to mourn her departure.
, The funeral was held from tho
home of Glenn Smith, B'r.jday,
March 13, at 2 o'clock and interment in Mayvillecemetcry, Rev.
