Margery L. Balthis, 77, of Kent, died Monday, January 6, 2014.
She was born June 19, 1936 in Tallmadge, to Robert L. and Emma E. (Atwater) Wolcott. Margery graduated from Kent State University in 1958.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald W. Balthis of Ravenna and David Balthis of Cuyahoga Falls; daughters, Eileen S. (Paul) Stoneman of Akron and Carrie J. Balthis of Akron; grandchildren, Michael, Leslie and Valerie Stoneman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Balthis in 2000; brothers, Robert F. and Richard A. Wolcott; and sister, Marilyn D. Kilgore.
Graveside services will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, January 9th at Hillside Cemetery-Randolph with Pastor Myron Lindsey officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation , Northeast Ohio Affiliate, 10819 Magnolia Drive, Cleveland, OH 44106.
