Per her death certificate found on Ancestry.com: her parents are not listed. She was the widow of John Donahue. There is no DOB but her age is given as 59. She resided at 323 Pickens and died in the ambulance en route to Columbia Hospital of coronary occlusion. The informant was A. G. Baker of Columbia, S. C. Most likely her: she can be found on the 1880 US Census for Blue Springs, Robeson, North Carolina at age 6, enumerated as Della Ann, living with Elias Yarborough, 33, James M., 11, Florence A., 8, Theodore, 4, and Elias G., 7 months. Her father is widowed. She was born in N. C.

Found in The State 25 August 1938: Mrs. Della A. Donahue, 59, of 323 Pickens street, died at 5:30 yesterday afternoon after a week's illness. She was being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance at the time she passed away. Mrs. Donahue was twice married, first to William Henry Baker, later to John Donahue. She is survived by one son, A. G. Baker; four grandchildren, Woodrow Baker, Jack Baker, Miss Margie Baker and Mrs. Muzette Baker Hughes; three great-grandchildren, Nancy, Jimmie and Iva Hughes, all of Columbia.
