Mary Idella [Yarborough] Ayers was born on December 8, 1873 in Georgia. She was married in 1891 in Georgia to Benjamin Franklin Ayers. Mary and Benjamin had eleven children together: Lowell, Ruby, Grady, John, Lena, Kathleen, Hattie Pearl, Odessa Carolina, Maggie, Gilbert & Viola Estelle Ayers. Mary Idella Ayers died on April 6, 1956 in Coweta County, Georgia. She is buried with her husband, Benjamin in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County, Georgia.
