INDIANAPOLIS — A celebration of life of Libby Yarnelle will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009, on the east lawn of the Garfield Park Arts Center, located at 2432 Conservatory Drive. Guests should enter the park via the Shelby Street entrance.

Libby was born July 30, 1979, in Fort Wayne, IN, and passed away at her home in Indianapolis on June 17, 2009. Libby's life was dedicated to serving others. She served as Executive Director of Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, a Bloomington, Indiana, food pantry, for 6 years. Family and friends were always the focus of her life. She was a devoted, loving, thoughtful, and respectful daughter, sister, friend, and partner.

She is survived by her partner, Owen Feldbaum of New Orleans; father, Jim Yarnelle and his partner, Greg Allen of Indianapolis, mother, Mary Yarnelle of Fort Wayne, and sister, Alexa, of Bloomington. Among additional survivors are paternal grandparents, Mary and Richard Yarnelle of South Whitley.

Preferred memorials to Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, 1010 South Walnut, Ste. G, Bloomington, Indiana 47401. Alpha Funeral Service was entrusted with the arrangements.
