Mary H. Yarnelle, 89, formerly of South Whitley, passed away May 13, 2015 in Tucson, AZ, where she had been living.

She was born March 5, 1926 in Clearwater, FL a daughter of Richard and Mabel May (Gividin) Hall. Her formative years were spent in Indianapolis.

She married Richard J. Yarnelle on October 5, 1946. They made their home in South Whitley. Mr. Yarnelle died August 20, 2011.

An actress, she performed with the Civic Theater, Fort Wayne and was a Resident Director of Theater at the First Presbyterian, Fort Wayne.

She is survived by four children, Alice (Tom) Anderson, North Manchester, Jim (Greg Allen) Yarnelle, Indianapolis, Patty (Glen) Weybright, South Whitley and David (Esau Hislope) Yarnelle, Tucson, AZ; a daughter-in-law, Mary M. Yarnelle, Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Barry and Evan Weybright, Alexa Yarnelle, Matthew Anderson and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosella D’Andrea, a brother, Jack Hall and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Yarnelle.

A private family entombment will be held at Falls Cemetery, Wabash.
