York, Mrs. Gwendolyn Mrs. Gwendolyn York, age 94 of Comstock Park, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, November 22, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert M. York; parents, Fred and Helen Rowley; grandson, Scott Hamlin. Surviving are her daughters, Kaylyn (Robert) Hamlin, Susanne York (Phil Hughes); grandchildren, Robyn (John) Churchhill, Kelli (Jeff) Casamento, Brett (Jennifer) Slebodnik; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Austin, Dallas and Jasper. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr., NE in Belmont, with her Pastor Doug Compton officiating. Her family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Interment Greenwood Cemetery in Sparta.
