Esther was the daughter of Jeremiah F. YORK, I (1791 - 1876) and Rhoda SWEERS (1797 - 1876), and was probably born in the Town of Clarence. She was the apparent twin of my ancestor John H. YORK (1823 - 1898), and they had six other siblings: Daniel Franklin (1817 - 1861); Eliza Ann (c. 1820 - aft. 1870); Mary (c. 1825 - aft. 1880); Ruth (c. 1825/1830 - aft. 1876); another unknown sister (b. c. 1825 - 1830); and Elenor "Ellen" M. YORK (c. 1835 - aft. 1880).
Esther first married Solomon CRULL (1816 - 1844). They had four children: Rhoda A. (b. c. 1841); twins Henry H. (1842 - 1862) and Horace A. (1842 - aft. 1880); and Solomon Delos CRULL (c. 1845 - 1921).
After Solomon's death, she married a widower with six children, Alfred Jacob TEACHOUT (1806 - 1872). Together they had seven children: Elias Lysander "Zan" (1847 - 1928); Lydia D.
