Mrs. Libbie Zalman Dulock, 96, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, in Houston. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, in Stafford, Texas, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m.

Libbie was born in McLennan Co., Texas, where she played high school basketball and graduated from Axtell High School. She worked as a beautician before her marriage to Victor and in 1942 they moved to Houston where she lived for the rest of her life. Libbie handled the phone and secretarial duties for her husband's business. Libbie and Victor saw to it that all their children went through Catholic grade school, high school, and college. Libbie was active in the Catholic Church at St. Peter the Apostle and St. Thomas More Churches. She worked for several years at Montgomery Ward's department store after her children were grown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor.

She is survived by her children, Victor, Vincent, Malcolm, David, Beverly, and Virginia; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
