MARY G. MCCARTHY, 83, of Ansonia, died May 5, 2008 at Griffin Hospital with her son by her side. She was the wife of the late John D. McCarthy, Sr.
Daughter of the late John and Mary (Tunca) Zuk, she was born March 10, 1925 in Derby.
Mrs. McCarthy was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Ansonia. She enjoyed gardening and playing bingo. She also was a member of the Ansonia Senior Center.
Survivors include her son, John D. Jr. of Ansonia; a sister, Wanda Lauderowicz of Ansonia; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by a brother, Stanley Zuk; and a sister, Jean Urashka.
