In 1910 Mrs. Blum, with her husband, migrated to the United States and settled at New Leipzig, North Dakota. After three years they moved to Hebron, North Dakota in 1914, where they resided for eight years. From Hebron they journeyed to Missoula, Montana. After two years residence at Missoula they went into the farming business at Wapato, Washington, from which they retired in 1941 and took up residence at Yakima, WA until 1960.
