Julia M. Carver (Age 87) Passed away on May 15, 2007, after a long and valiant battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Julia was born in Ritzville, WA on May 29, 1919, to Arthur and Evangeline Browiak. She is survived by her cousins Prudence French of Potlatch, ID; Bruce Rosenoff and Jon Rosenoff of Spokane, WA; and Kristi Rosenoff of Everett, WA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Merle Carver; her son, Lee Arthur Carver; her sister, Elizabeth "Pib" Browiak; and her cousins, Charles Rosenoff and Luciele Burkett. Julia graduated from Ritzville High School and Cheney Normal School, and later taught remedial reading in the Central Valley School District. She thoroughly enjoyed playing the organ and singing, and, when she was able, she liked traveling and visiting the family cabin at Hauser Lake. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the IOOF Cemetery in Rosalia, WA. Memorial contributions can be made in Julia's memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 818 E. Sharp, Spokane, WA 99202. HAZEN AND JAEGER VALLEY FUNERAL HOME has been entrusted with the arrangements.
