French prince and military commander who fought in the Spanish-Moroccan War and the War of the Triple Alliance. He was husband to Isabel, heiress to the Brazilian imperial throne.He was Count of Eu and the Imperial Consort of Brazil.

His full name was Louis Philippe Marie Ferdinard Gaston d'Orleans.
