Princess. Louise Diane d'Orléans, daughter of Philippe d'Orléans, Duke of Orléans and Regent for Louis XV, and his wife Françoise Marie de Bourbon, was born in the Palais Royal in Paris. She was the seventh daughter and eighth child of the marriage. On January 22, 1732, the fifteen-year-old granddaughter of Louis XIV married Louis François de Bourbon, Prince of Conti, at the Palace of Versailles. The couple had two children. The first, Louis François Joseph de Bourbon, Prince of Conti, was born in 1734. The second child, in 1736, was stillborn. Louise died in childbirth at the Château d'Issy on September 26, 1736. The Princess of Conti was interred at Saint André des Arcs. Her husband Louis François never remarried. Their son was the last Prince of Conti.
