MARIE MASSMAN
Mrs. Marie E. Massman, 83, of 1695 Altanta Circle, Manitowoc, died Sunday, July 14, at Holy Family Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Leo J. Schmitt with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Massman, nee Marie Emily Jerabek, was born May 24, 1902, at Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Frank and Barbara Sauer Jerabek Sr. She married George (Shawano) Massman on June 29, 1925, in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death March 18, 1972. Mrs. Massman was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Germania Society, both of Manitowoc.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Miss Lorraine Massman and LaVerne and Robert Berge, both of Manitowoc; two grandchildren, Edward and Ann Louise; five great grandchildren, Vicky, Kim, Lisa, Kathy and Debbie and three great great grandchildren, Leann, Bradly and Amanda and nieces and nephews also survived. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Massman Baker, a son, Clifford Massman, a sister, Mrs. Anna Watruba and two brothers, Joseph and Frank Jerabek.
Friends may call Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening.
