CHRISTOPHER RAHR MAST

Christopher Rahr Mast, age 21, died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 18, 1997,
at his residence in Madison.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 1997, at First
Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Rev. William
Plank with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Christopher was born January 8, 1976, in Manitowoc, son of James A Mast of
Madison and Ann Rahr Mast of Manitowoc. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln
High School with the Class of 1994. Christopher was attending Madison Area
Technical College working to achieve a long time ambition of becoming a police
officer. Christopher was an active member and volunteer at the Manitowoc YMCA
and was selected Boy of The Year in 1991. Christopher had a special love for
people afflicted with Muscular Dystrophy including participation as a counselor
at the annual MDA Summer Camp and currently serving as a caregiver.
Survivors include his mother, Ann Rahr Mast, Manitowoc; his father, James A Mast,
Madison; his sister, Amy Ella Mast, Madison; maternal grandmother, Ella Hamilton
Longacre, Manitowoc; paternal grandfather, Robert (Muriel) Mast, Florida; his
god-parents, Peter and Gina Deschler, Manitowoc; many wonderful aunts and uncles
including Walter (Chip) and Jane Longacre, St. Paul, Minn., Jane and Daniel
Driscoll, Seattle, Wash., Marie and Alan Lengeteig, Lodi, Wis., Susan and Emil
Wanatka, Durango, Col., Mark Longacre, Denver, Bruce and Katrina Longacre, Union,
Kent., Nancy and Tom Wagner, Heidelberg, Germany; cousins other relatives and many
friends. He is also survived by special friends that include Debbie, Jeff D., John,
Jeff G., Gretchen, Heather and Brian. He was preceded in death by his maternal
grandfather, Walter B. Longacre and his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Zinzer Mast.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
Memorials may be made to the Manitowoc YMCA or MDA Summer Camp.
Christopher had a passion for life and everybody in it.
