DEATH TAKES BUSINESS MAN
Joseph Mastelier, Buffalo St. Shoe Dealer, Dead, Aged 39
Joseph Mastelier, one of the city's well known young business men
engaged in the shoe business on Buffalo street, died at the hospital
Wednesday night, aged 39 years. Mr. Mastiller was taken to the
hospital a week ago for an operation but his condition was found to
be extremely grave and he had failed rapidly and death came Wednesday
night. Born at Kewaunee Mr. Mastelier came to Manitowoc twenty years
ago and for fifteen years was an employee of the O. Torrison Co. Four
years ago he engaged in business for himself and had been successful.
He was married in this city fourteen years ago and is survived by a
widow. An aged mother at Kewaunee and three brothers, Frank, John and
Henry also survive him.
