ROSE MASTALIR

Mrs. Rose T. Mastalir died in her sleep early Sunday morning at the
home of her niece, Mrs. E.L. Wilda, 842 N. 10th street, with whom
she had lived for several years.
She was apparently in good health when she retired Saturday night.
Her death was discovered by members of the Wilda family who went to
her room when she failed to arise for breakfast Sunday morning.
Mrs. Mastalir, nee Rose Tachetsky, was born in the town of Kossuth.
She was married to Joseph Mastalir Aug. 16, 1898. Mr. Mastalir, a
shoe merchant, died in 1911. For many years following his death,
Mrs. Mastalir was employed in the cloak department at the Schuette
Brothers store. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. F. Blanke of
Plymouth and Mrs. Kate Krainik of this city and two brothers, A.J.
and Frank Petska, both of this city.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the
chapel at the Frazier Mortuary with the Rev. F.C. St. Clair, rector
of St. James Episcopal church, officiating. Burial will be at
Evergreen. Friends may view the body after 7 o'clock tonight.
