IDA MATZNICK

Mrs. Otto Matznick, 45, died this morning at 11 o'clock at the farm home, a
mile south of Valders in the town of Liberty. She had been ill a year.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Berge funeral home,
Valders, and at 2 o'clock from the First German Evangelical Lutheran church
in this city, the Rev. L. H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
cemetery.
Mrs. Matznick, nee Ida Gauger, was born in Manitowoc Rapids in 1894, and was
graduated from county schools and later from the county normal school. She
taught rural schools and in 1914 was married to Mr. Matznick. They located on
a farm in Liberty.
Survivors are the widower; parents, Mr. and Mr. Albert Gauger of Manitowoc
Rapids; brother, George, of Manitowoc Rapids.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home in Valders from Friday at 3 p.m.
until the hour of the services.

Otto Matznick and bride have arrived home from Alverno Monday where they were
quietly married, it being a surprise to friends and relatives here. Mr. and Mrs.
Matznick have taken up their residence on the groom's farm near this village
where they will be pleased to welcome their friends.
