Born January 31, 1920 in San Bernardino, CA passed peacefully in his sleep at the age of 94 on July 4, 2014 in Yucaipa, CA.
A 55 year resident of Highland, CA and a 94 year resident of San Bernardino County.
Preceded in death by parents Calistro and Carmen Cadelas Resendez, 12 siblings, son Pete A. Resendez, spouse Mary L. Resendez 68 yrs. of marriage and granddaughter Lisa Resendez. Survived by son Emmett (Patricia) Resendez of Rialto, one sister Benita (Benito) Rojas of San Bernardino, brother-in-law Joe (Susie) Leon of Corona, 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 16 great-granchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren. Numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
A U.S. Army Veteran WWII and former Prisoner of War.
Visitation 9-10 am Montecito Mortuary Chapel, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA. Chapel services 10:00 am. Friday July 18, 2014. Interment: RNC Riverside staging area #8 at 1:31 pm.
