John Authouse

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Terzich-Wilson funeral chapel for John Hunly Authouse, 84, of rural Columbia.

The Rev. Halsted Gates will officiate and burial will be in Columbia City cemetery.

Mr. Authouse, a resident of the county for one and a half years, died yesterday in a local hospital.

A native of Bells, Texas, he came here from Scotts Bluff, Neb. He was a self-employed farmer for 30 years.

Mr. Authouse was a member of the Eagles lodge in Garing, Neb.

On June 28, 1908, he married Miss Jessie L. Taylor in Cleveland, Oklahoma. They lived in Oklahoma City for many years.

He is survived by a son, Lee, of Boulder City, Nev.; two daughters, Evelyn Mestraitua of Columbia and Mildred Pace of Norwalk, three grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
