Carolyn's body was found under the bridge on Brown Rd. in Columbus. She was murdered by the same man that kidnapped and murdered her four year old daughter the same month. She was the daughter of Thomas Adams. I don't remember her mothers name. All I know about her is when Carolyn was a little girl her mother set her car on fire with the children in it. Carolyn was burned and scarred badly.She and I went to Starling Middle School together.She was my cousin through marriage when my mother married Thomas Adams brother Donald Adams. Carolyn was a good person and didn't deserve the life she had. Rest in peace Carolyn. Carolyn's Great Grandparents Elmer and Ethel Robinson Adams has a baby boy, Elmer Adams Jr buried in Green Lawn Cemetery too. There has been much tragedy in this family. Carolyn's Grandfather Calvin Adams was hit by a train in Cabell County, West Virginia. It has been told for many years that he was robbed and thrown onto the tracks. But there is no mention of that on his death cert. his cause of death was listed as Accidental, Hit by train and died of massive internal and external injuries. Carolyn's father Thomas was one year old when it happened. and Calvin's 17 year old daughter Beverly Gay Adams was 17 when she was killed in Mingo County West Virginia. It was said she was traveling with her boyfriend to a dance and went out of Cabell County and crossed the railroad tracks and the car she was in was hit by a train. On her death cert it says she was hit by a car. There is much to be told about this family and nearly no one left to tell these stories.
