Jeanne F. (Girouard) Akstin, 53, of South Grafton, passed away November 19 2007 at home after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Calvin J. Akstin; her step daughter Nicole Akstin; her mother, Ann (Matson) Girouard; two siblings, Joan Greece and her husband James, John Girouard and his wife Tricia; her brother-in-law, Vincent Pizzotti; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Alfred J. Girouard (1995) and her sister, Janice Pizzotti. Jeanne was born August 13 1954 in Worcester and moved to South Grafton when she married her husband. She graduated from St. Peter's Central Catholic High School in Worcester and worked in the billing department at C.G.I.T. in Worcester prior to her illness.
All are invited to calling hours Friday November 23rd from 4 to 6 p.m in Roney Funeral Homes - South Chapel, 124 Main St. (RT 122A) in South Grafton. Following private funeral services Jeanne will be laid to rest in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
