Canadian journalist and writer. A native of the city of Québec, he undertook his career of journalist in Sorel with "Le Sorelois", then he returned to his hometown to the liberal newspaper "L'Électeur" where he worked from April 7, 1888 to February 16, 1895. From 1895 to 1898, he wrote in « La semaine commerciale », a new magazine devoted to the businessmen of Québec and area. In 1906, he became editor of "La Vigne", a daily newspaper supporting the preserving Prime Minister Wilfrid Laurier and fighting the nationalist politician and writer Henri Bourassa and his newspapers. Engaged in the fight for the "indefinite progress" of his community, he collaborated in various publications which underlined certain social, cultural and economic events. He passed away in his hometown.
