Warren Bailey was my Grandpa. He had a dry sense of humor and always had a smile on his face. He played the fiddle the old fashioned way by holding it cradeled on his forearm and bowing it near his lap.
Grandpa decided long ago that he did NOT want a burial vault, only a casket. The funeral home that handled his funeral was so indignate about the loss of profit that they tried to make his burial as shoddy as possible, but we got him buried just the same, and we all stayed there until the last clod fell. Grandpa would have been proud!.
