ROCK SPRING -- Roy L. Bird died Wednesday, April 28, 1999, in a local hospital.
He was 90. Mr. Bird was a member of Rock Spring United Methodist Church and was the owner of Rock Spring Cemetery.
He was a member of Crawfish Springs Masonic Lodge 300 F&AM and the Alhambra Shrine.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kittie Bird.
Survivors include several cousins.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway, with the Rev. Terry Fleming officiating.
Burial will be in Rock Spring Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rock Spring United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
