BASS, Werdna Mildred, age 89 of Winchester died Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at her residence. She was a Nurse's Assistant at Smith Memorial and Franklin County Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.D. Bass. She is survived by daughter Patty (Mackie) Priest of Winchester, grandson Mackie Priest, Jr. of Winchester and several nieces and nephews. Service was Saturday, July 5, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. John Norman and Rev. Rudy Wilkinson officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Garner Cemetery, Decherd.
