BAILEY, Elsie M., age 90 of Manchester, died Sunday, August 31, 2003 at Coffee United Regional Medical Center. She was born in Grundy County and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse T. Bailey, son Jesse Bailey, sister Leona Barnes and brother Dave Barnes. She is survived by sons, Donald G. Bailey of Cowan, Douglas F. Bailey of Manchester, Larry Bailey of Manchester and James Bailey of Shreveport, Louisiana; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren six great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild. Service was Monday, Sept. 1, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Tim Brown officiating. Interment was in the Cowan Montgomery Cemetery in Cowan.
