SADIE ASHLEY, age 77 of Elora died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County and was a homemaker and the devoted wife of Harvey Ashley, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John Hollis Brewer and Oma Gifford Brewer; sisters, Ozell Denson and Irena Sells and her brother, Woodfin Brewer. She is the loving mother of sons, Davie (Margaret) Ashley, Donnie Ashley, Bobby (Mary) Ashley, Lester (Betty Jean) Ashley and Larry (Donna) Ashley, all of Elora and daughters, Carolyn (Ray) Davis of New Market, Ala., Janice (Barry) Green of Elora; Betty (Lynn) Richardson of Fayetteville and Lynn (Wyman) Prince of Huntland. She is also survived by special friend and sister-in-law, Thelma Ashley; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.Interment was in the Green Cemetery in Belvidere,Tn.
