The funeral for Mr. Apsey will be held Tuesday at 1p.m. at Kribs Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Darryl Boyd officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Apsey was born in Peck on Sept. 23, 1893, the son of George and Mary Apsey. He came to Corunna in 1942.
On Nov. 18, 1914, he was married to Anna May Warner in Sanilac County. She died Aug. 5, 1976.
Mr. Apsey was a retired truck driver from Shiawassee County Road Commission.
The family will be at the chapel to receive friends from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today.
Survivors include, one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Wanda) Dietrich, of Ovid; four sons, Leslie of Perry, Robert of Owosso, Max of Corunna and Charles of Port Huron; 16 grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Tomlinson, of Brown City, Mrs. Marion Glaze of Detroit, Mrs. Lottie Donnelly of Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Doris Hoffman of St. Petersburg, Fla., and two brothers, Edward of Yale and Stanley of Zephyrhills, Fla.
