Yale- Edmund Apsey, 87, of 300 Park Ave., died Sunday, March 1, 1987, in Zephyrhills, Fla. He was born Nov. 6, 1899, in Peck. He married Sarah Shepard, June 6, 1923, in Brown City. Mr. Apsey was a retied auto worker. He was a member of the Yale United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Harold, Rockford, Ill., Dale, Deckerville, and Ronald, Dale City, Fla., one brother, Stanley, Zephyrhills, Fla., four sisters, Mrs. Marion Glaze and Mrs. Ethel McCaffry, both of Ferndale, Mrs. Doris Hoffman, Florida, and Mrs. Lottie Donnelly, Cleveland; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Apsey was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the B.D. Apsey Funeral Home, Deckerville. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. Visiting is from 1-9 p.m. Wednesday and until time of service Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Yale United Methodist Church or the Deckerville Hospice.
