Maarten BLOK was born in the Fishers Village SCHEVENINGEN near THE HAGUE-HOLLAND February 23, 1939.
Maarten was a real SOCCER Fan and PLAYER and was very well known as a Sportsman FIRST Class with an excellent sense of Humor.
One of the Clubs He played for was R.C.D.H in The HAGUE, a Club that does'n excist anymore.

Maarten died some Months after a stroke January 14, 2006 in a Nursing home in His Home Village SCHEVENINGEN.
About 300 Familymembers and Friends attented His Funeral that took place on the Cemetery "OUD EYK EN DUINEN" in The HAGUE-HOLLAND.
Rest in Peace dear Friend, I will not forget you !
