May 19, 1989 was the most tragic day for a family of 8. The father Thomas Ireland Sr., was at work and the oldest child Jamie (7 y/o) was at school, when the house caught fire and the mother, Christina, and five (5) children ranged in age from 5 months to 5 years old all perished.
