Adams, Barbara E. joined her beloved husband and great granddaughter (Libby Lee) in the arms of Jesus on Thursday, October 20, 2011. Cherished wife of the late Blewett U. Adams for 51 years. Devoted mother of Angie (Don) Khan, & Margaret (Gene) Bell; dear grandmother of Jarrett, Miriam, Katie, Blake, Andrew, & Jordan; dear great grandmother of Jackson, Emma, Cole, Ty, Libby & Landon; dear sister of Lanie Todd and the late Norman Cox, Bill Cox, Sis Ray, Verma Moore and Neal Hall; our dear aunt, great aunt, great great aunt, cousin & friend to many. Barbara was a longtime member at Marvin Park United Methodist Church where she went the extra mile in loving service wherever she saw a need. She was a role model. Services: Funeral service will be held on Monday October 24th, 2011 @ 10 A.M. @ Shepard Funeral Chapel 9255 Natural Bridge @ I-170 (314-426-6000) with burial to follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday October 23, 2011 from 4-8 P.M. Family would be honored for me morial contributions to be directed to Harmony United Methodist Church or the Trisomy 18 Foundation.
