MAPLETON -- Russell H. Fuller, 73, of 9624 S. Mapleton Road died at 1:13 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 1995, in the emergency room at

Saint Francis Medical Center.

Born March 20, 1922, in Peoria to Howard and Dorothy Neuman Fuller, he married Marie Duchense. She died Nov. 18, 1986. He later married Sharyn Brown on Dec. 27, 1987, in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Vernon of Bloomington, Russell Jr. of Dahinda and Kyle at home; three daughters, Janet Cann of Manhattan, Beverly Sidell of Peoria and Robin Supernowski of Pekin; one sister, Virginia Smith of Peoria; one brother, Howard of Iowa; 13 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren. Three brothers preceded him in death.

He formerly owned Fairway Autobody in Pekin. He later worked for Caterpillar Inc. for 20 years, retiring in 1987. A World War II Army veteran, he was a life member of Pekin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, American Legion Post in Pekin and Disabled American Veterans in Peoria.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. The Rev. James Kraemer will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.

Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene in Pekin.
